Description and Uses: Bay essential oil, also known as Sweet Bay or Laurel is an uplifting oil that comes from the leaves often used in cooking. Bay oil is useful for colds and flu, lack of appetite, tonsillitis and fatigue. It's a wonderful essential oil used externally for muscle aches, neuralgia and arthritis. Used in a steam inhalation blend, bay oil is useful for respiratory problems.

Cautions: Use bay essential oil in moderation and dilute well. Not recommended during pregnancy.
